The Tour Itinerary will take you to four National parks in Uganda

Highlights of the 10 day Uganda Tour
- Day 1: Travel to Murchison falls national park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino tracking. Later go for an evening game drive for wildlife including Giraffes, Elephant, Waterbuck, Orbi, Uganda Kob etc
- Day 2: Go for a morning game drive searching for big cats such as Leopard, Lions, Hyenas, Elephants, Buffalo, etc. Later we go for an Evening Boat ride to the bottom of the falls view. Here you get to see thousands of Hippos, Crocodiles, Birds, several wildlife as they come for the water break on the banks of river Nile. We also go for a hike to the top of the falls for a panorama view of the falls.
- Day 3: Morning game drive and then transfer to Kibale National park
- Day 4: Chimpanzee tracking in the morning and then transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park
- Day 5: Morning game drive for wildlife and in the evening go for a boat ride on Kazinga Channel for a close encounter with Hippos, Crocodiles, Buffalo, Elephant, birds and other wildlife around the channel
- Day 6: Travel to Ishasha for the Tree climbing Lions and then continue to Bwindi for the overnight.
- Day 7: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi

10 Days Uganda Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Rhino Tracking and Evening game drive
Early in the morning after breakfast, we leave Kampala and head north to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino tracking (the first member of the Big Five family).
Ziwa Rhino sanctuary is the only place in Uganda where you can track these endangered species in their natural habitat.
After the experience, we continue to Murchison falls national park and on arrival we head for an evening game drive searching Lions, Elephants, Giraffes, Leopard, Orbi etc
Day 2: Morning game drive, Boat cruise and Hike to top of falls
On this day, we head for a morning game drive with our packed breakfast.
On this game drive you have a chance of catching up with the early risers including the big cats (lions and leopard), Hyenas, Elephant, Cape Buffalo, Giraffe, Uganda Kob, Waterbuck etc.
After the game drive, we head for lunch and then go for a boat cruise on the Nile for an exclusive date with Hippos, Crocodile, fishing birds, Elephants, Buffaloes and other animals.
Upon finishing the cruise, we are now at the bottom of Murchison falls, we go for a hike to the top of the falls for a magnificent panorama view of the falls.
We then head back to our lodge for dinner and the night.
Day 3: Morning game drive and Transfer to Kibale National Park
We head out of Murchison falls national for yet another game drive filling in gaps left from the previous game drive.
We head to Kibale National park the center of Primate tracking in Africa.
Kibale National park is blessed with 13 primate species and these include: Chimpanzee, L’Hoest Monkey, Coppery-tailed money, Blue monkey, Vervet monkey, Black and White colobus monkey, Red tailed monkey, Red Colobus monkey, Olive Baboon, Thick-tailed bushbaby, Lesser Galago etc
On arrival in Kibale, we check in and later go for a community walk in the evening swamp walk.
Day 4: Chimpanzee Tracking and transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park
Early in the morning, we head to Kanyanchu Visitor center(Kibale park offices) for Briefing and group allocation. There, you will be attached to a group headed by a ranger guide.
The guide will lead you into the forest tracking the sought after Chimpanzees, our closes relatives with over 99% DNA similar to ours.
The length of the trek trough the forest depends on the location of the Primates in the forest since they keep on moving from one location to another looking for food.
Upon finding the chimps, you will spend a maximum of 1 hour with the chimps and then head our of the forest. In the presence of the Chimps, you can take pictures(no flash) for your memories to when you return home.
After lunch, we shall the drive to Queen Elizabeth national park through big banana plantations, maize, cotton and sunflowers.
We drive on the foothills of Mt Rwenzori through copper mining town of Kasese. On arrival in Queen Elizabeth National Park, we check in and wait for the adventure the next day.

Day 5: Game Drive and boat ride along the Kazinga channel
Day 5 of our 10 days Uganda Safari starts with an early morning game drive to Kasenyi (a section of Queen Elizabeth NP) with parked breakfast.
Here we are aiming for the BIG CATS which are more active in the morning such as; Lions & Leopards however other animals will be seen; Hyenas, Elephants, Buffalos, Antelopes and different bird species.
Kasenyi tracks presents the best region for game viewing because of the open grounds which attracts Big game( animals). Return to the lodge for Lunch.
In the evening we go or a boat cruise on Kazinga channel which is wonder of its own, you cant imagine how close you get to giant animals like Buffalos and Elephants which come to the banks of the channel for water.
Other animals which can be seen include; Giant forest hogs, Hippopotamus, Nile crocodiles and many bird species like Great white pelicans, African spoonbills, Great cormorants, African fish eagles among others.
We then return to the lodge for dinner.

Day 6: Transfer to Bwindi through Ishasha (south of Queen Elizabeth)
After breakfast, we drive to the southern part of Queen Elizabeth NP (ISHASHA). It’s the most remote part and less visited though very rich in Game.
This is the home of the Tree climbing Lions. Other gaming potentials include the rare Leopard, Hyenas, Giant forest hogs, Topi, big herds of Uganda kob.
We then drive through Maramagambo forest which presents opportunities of seeing some primates such as Baboons, Red tailed Colobus, Black and white Colobus, L’hoest’s monkey, among others.
We then stop for lunch and continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Day 7: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable National park
Gorilla Trekking Day and transfer to lake Bunyonyi
In the morning, after breakfast, you assemble at the “Visitor center” for briefing and Gorilla group allocation before being guided in the forest by the park ranger guide and armed escorts.
Trekking is very physical but interesting, different vegetation in the forest and atmosphere is rewarding.
The trek might be long or short depending on the movements of the Gorillas, but seeing the peaceful giants brings ease in your heart, and hour with them seems like minutes.
Just enjoy the breath taking hour before returning back to the forest for other activities.

Day 8: Lake Bunyonyi Tour and Bird watching
After breakfast you continue driving further south to Lake Bunyonyi “the lake for birds”, the right place to take it slow and relax. Lake Bunyonyi is a very scenic lake with (29 islands) and might make you feel out of Africa.
This is the second deepest lake in Africa after lake Tanganyika and deepest in Uganda but because it is always calm, enables canoeing and a Nature walk on these historic islands is very rewarding.
Therefore upon arrival, you check in at the lodge and have lunch, then enjoy an active evening.

Day 9: Drive to lake Mburo National Park, boat cruise and evening game drive
In the morning after an early breakfast, we transfer to Lake Mburo National park.
This is Uganda smallest savanna park but offering magical experience such as; Zebra, warthog, Elands, Impala, Giraffes, Buffalos, Leopard, Bushbucks, among others. Upon arrival, we have lunch at the lodge.
In the afternoon you will go for a 2 hour boat ride on Lake Mburo and get quite close to the water animals that include Crocodiles and Hippopotamus, birds like the Fish eagles and King fishers.
After the boat ride, you will start an evening Game drive as you enjoy a beautiful sunset. Return to the lodge for dinner.

Day 10: Checkout and travel back to Kampala
After breakfast enjoy a walking safari in the park with an experienced game ranger.
It’s a very great experience as you get close to wildlife without threatening them which wouldn’t be the case if you were in a safari car (they would run).
This take an average of 2 hours. After the walk, we check out of the lodge and continue to Kampala of Entebbe.
You will have a stopover at the Equator where you will have an opportunity to stand in two hemispheres at the same time and take some photos.
Have lunch and then proceed east for your International flight or hotel of your choice in Kampala or Entebbe. Summary

What you need
Just like Rwenzori Mountain trekking, gorilla trekking also requires these items when tracking the gorillas.- Water: Gorilla and Chimpanzee trekking can be very tiresome and you need to refill your tank as the trek goes on. It is advisable to park a few water filtration tablets before you come for the trek.
- Boots: You will need good waterproof comfortable shoes. Some times it rains during the trek, so skid proof shoes can come in handy.
- Rain Jacket: You are advised to carry rain jacket because if rains very often in Bwindi Impenetrable forest
- Snack: You can carry a light snack to give you some energy during the walk in the forest
- Trouser and Shirts Bwindi forest is covered with thick undergrowth, therefore light trousers and long sleeved shirts are advised.
- Socks: You will have to tuck in the trousers into the socks to avoid insects crawling inside.
- Gloves: You will need Gardening gloves because you will be grabbing tree branches, leaves, name it, and some can be thorny.
- Camera: Carry a good camera (no flash) to capture this lifetime experience
